Easy street metered parking at this location. I love the free peanuts while you're waiting. Service is super thoughtful and nice here. I always order in advance on their app and the staff make sure to check your name to see if your order is ready. Really nice. And then they always offer extra A1 steak sauce (!) or additional condiments that you want to go with your burger. Most of the extras are free so you can add all the peppers, grilled mushrooms, onions and most toppings that you want. The regular burgers are double patties and they make quite a meal. I recommend the one with bacon. I'll admit my incentive to drive to this Five Guys on Wilshire Blvd is because a Gold American Express card gives $10 credit a month at Five Guys, and this is the closest location. It's not in a mall and this part of Wilshire is in the "Miracle Mile" and has a fun urban vibe to it. Five Guys has also gone quite international with locations and I've noticed my friends in Switzerland and France are obsessed with it. They do make an excellent hamburger.

* high chairs * baby changing station in bathroom This place is few blocks from La Brea Tar Pits. No drive thru. The food and service was great. We had a very cheery cashier. The whole place was clean and well organized. The JR burgers are about the size of a normal burger. The regular size one are HUGE. These burgers are customizable with a lot of choices for toppings. The meat is juicy and cooked just right. (No red.) 5Guys doesn't offer meals, so if you want fries and/ or a drink, you have to order them.
If you are blind-folded and led into an eatery where you are slapped with the aroma of burgers on the flat-top and potato frying in peanut oil and, most notably, Eighties rock is blasting, you know you're in a Five Guys restaurant. For fast casual, it's still consistent and solid with the back-yard style burgers. I just wish it were a bit lower in price, but the beef patty is tasty. Some people think it's better than In-n-Out, but I've come to realise they are each different type of American burger beasts that do certain things great. In the case of Five Guys, their french fries are amasing and almost no contest compared to I-n-O. The "little" size is more than enough to share. Or you can just make a meal of it yourself. I'm happy with that.
